Choose which flight you wish to check-in

Choose which passenger/s you wish to check-in

Choose and pay for any Extras you need - like travel insurance or catering

Print our your boarding pass - or do so later at the airport Self-service kiosk.  All done!

Flights checked into online cannot be refunded or changed online; please contact our Customer Service Hotline on (+86 21)95524 for help.
Changes to online Seat Selection are unavailable both online and at the airport once Online Check-in has been completed.
Please contact our Customer Service hotline if you require assistance with Seat Selection and Online Check-in.

  • 1. Is Online Check-in supported for tickets bought online, over the phone or over-the-counter at Spring branches?

    Online Check-in is currently only supported for tickets purchased online. Tickets bought over the phone or over-the-counter at Spring branches will need to check-in at the airport counter.

  • 2. Is Online Check-in supported for international and regional flights? Which departure airports support Online Check-in?

    Online Check-in is currently unavailable on international and regional routes;

    Online Check-in is currently available for all flights departing Shanghai Pudong (PVG) and Shanghai Hongqiao (SHA) terminals, with more airports in the process of signing up. Please check our website regularly for the latest updates on participating airports.

  • 3. When am I able to perform Online Check-in? Do I need to perform Online Check-in immediately after I book tickets online?

    Online Check-in must be performed more than 24 hours prior to flight departure;

    After purchasing tickets online, a link becomes available for you to complete Online Check-in facilities.

  • 4. Am I able to cancel or change a flight after checking-in online? If so, how do I do this?

    If your ticket class allows for ticket changes or cancellations, you will need to call our Customer Service Hotline on (+86) (+86 21)95524 and talk to an operator to change a flight for which you've already checked-in online

  • 5. If I forgot to select Online Check-in during the online ticket booking process, am I still able to check-in online later?

    You can update your booking in My Order;

  • 6. Does Online Check-in affect the price of my ticket?

    During our initial trial period, check-in at the airport counter will remain free so there is no impact on ticket pricing;

  • 7. I've already checked-in online, but my boarding pass isn't working (or I've lost it). What should I do?

    If you have misplaced your boarding pass, you can print out another at the Spring Airlines self-service kiosks in the departure hall.

  • 8. I don't like the seat that's been chosen for my Online Check-in. Can I change it online or at the airport?

    Unfortunately you cannot change your seat once you've checked-in online. However you can select the seat of your choice during the he online ticket booking process prior to checking-in online.

  • 9. If I've already checked-in online, can I throw out my old boarding pass and check-in online again?

    No you cannot. Passengers are only able to cancel Online Check-in by contacting our Customer Service Hotline on (+86) (+86 21)95524.

  • 10. Can I check-in online using the English, Japanese and mSpring websites?

    Yes – you can perform Online Check-in using the English and Japanese websites, and we hope to roll out Online Check-in for the mSpring mobile website by the end of May 2012.
